09/07/2008         Mom and I went to lunch with U. Albert and Granny. She was doing well, walking great and even associated Mom with the correct name, but then later asked where Peggy was, but Mom was sitting there. But over all it was a good visit and good to see her.

09/06/2008         I am an official apartment renter now - by myself that is. I finished signing my lease today and move in next Wednesday! Actually, all my stuff will be moved in on the 13th, but I get to pick up the keys on the 10th! I am very excited, but don’t want to have to do all the packing/unpacking. I am also excited for Mom because she’ll finally be rid of me and have an extra room to put dog and grand-baby stuff in, and the dogs themselves if she really wanted to. Of course, no dogs well be at my apt., except for the inspection from Gizmo. He will be checking out the place for his future corgi friends. If it passes his standards, he will allow me with the help of his parents to pick out a set of corgis (once I am well adjusted and can afford the pet deposits). Hehe!
